The Olive&Moss designs are based around animal characters which are fresh and light hearted. Adopting a simple graphic style, quirky retro twists and sweetly serious expressions, the Olive&Moss characters are given their own name and identity. Designed to be a ‘year round’ collection, they are ideal for any occasion and perfectly tailored towards the gift market. From its humble beginnings, Olive&Moss is now stocked in 250 outlets across the UK and has a growing presence across Europe and the US.
Nina Govan started the business following and 8 year career as a Commercial Textile Designer working for large retail operations. Nina worked as a senior Designer for Monsoon/Accessorize where she learned her trade in successfully bringing a product to market. Her CV also boasts impressive clients such as Diane Von Furstenburg, Ralph Lauren, Etro, Gap, Harrods, Marks and Spencer and Primark.
We have recently entered the world of blogging and are already in love! Readers will be able to hear about the latest Olive&Moss products, company news and studio gossip, keep up with the adventures of Michael the Monkey and find some yummy recipes that have been tries and tested by our in-house chefs Margot and Mo.
We regularly participate in trade shows, for example this month (September 2011) we took part in both Top Drawer 2011 in London, and Kind und Jugend in Germany. As a company, we enjoy meeting new people and catching up with existing customers!
